PhD candidates

We plan to recruit a PhD student next year in the area of computational protein design in a project where influenza vaccines will be designed. The position will primarily be computational but any prospective student needs to have a strong interest in working in the interface between computational protein design and experimental protein chemistry. More information on this position and how to apply will be posted here. In the meanwhile, contact me at ingemar.andre - at - biochemistry.lu.se

Postdoctoral candidates

A postdoc position will be announced in 2020 in computational protein design. The postdoc will develop computational methods to design are protein assemblies. Experience in C++ and/or python programming is requited together with a background in protein modeling. More information on this position and how to apply will be posted here. In the meanwhile, contact me at ingemar.andre - at - biochemistry.lu.se

Undergraduate students

There are two types of undergraduate projects in the lab. For students without programming experience we offer experimental projects, often characterizing proteins designed in the group. For students with programming experience we offer projects in method development. Although there are more applied projects in this area, typically an interest in development of algorithms and computational methods is requested. If your area interested in joining the group as an undergraduate, contact me at ingemar.andre - at - biochemistry.lu.se

Andrelab

We combine computational and experimental methods to understand the structure, interactions and evolution of proteins.
